All On Four Dental Implants Houston

ALL ON FOUR DENTAL IMPLANTS

A full upper and/or lower arch reconstruction can be comfortably performed under IV sedation in ONE visit with the All-On-4™ Dental Implant Procedure.  This procedure uses four implants with the back implants tilted to increase the bone-to-implant contact, which enables the "immediate load" of the replacement teeth.

THE DIAGNOSTIC PHASE | ALL ON FOUR DENTAL IMPLANTS

At the first visit, hi-resolution photos, digital x-rays, a 3D CAT scan and a thorough clinical evaluation will take place followed by expert explanation of the case diagnosis and treatment options.  During this visit, impressions are taken (to make the replacement teeth), and a clear financial overview will be presented.

THE SURGICAL PHASE | ALL ON FOUR DENTAL IMPLANTS

For most cases, this phase involves the extractions, bone graft (if necessary), surgical placement of the 4 implants and the immediate load of the replacement teeth in ONE visit. This procedure is performed with the patient completely comfortable under IV Sedation that is administered by a board certified Anesthesiologist. Patients typically resume a full schedule of activities within 24 to 72 hours. Follow-up visits are 1, 4 and 12 weeks after surgery.

THE RESTORATIVE PHASE | ALL ON FOUR DENTAL IMPLANTS

When the implants have fully integrated with the jawbone (4 weeks to 4 months later), the all on four dental implant procedure can be completed.

COMPLETE SEDATION SOLUTIONS
The sedative methods used for sedation dentistry vary in strength and purpose. A Dentiq dentist will select the sedation option that is best for you based on the dental procedure performed, how long these procedures will take and your level of anxiety. Although the specialist will ultimately determine what sedatives will be used, you can request stronger sedatives if you suffer from severe anxiety.

ANXIOLYSIS: is defined by minimal or mild sedation and is associated with relieving anxiety. Inhalation analgesia (also known as nitrous oxide or “laughing gas”) .

MODERATE SEDATION / CONSCIOUS SEDATION: Moderate sedation is defined by a depressed level of consciousness, meaning you can breathe independently, retain your reflexes and respond to verbal/physical stimulation - oral sedation or oral conscious sedation (OCS) is most often associated with sedation dentistry.

INTRAVENEOUS IV SEDATION: intravenous sedation can also make people feel as if they are actually asleep, much like oral sedation. The difference between oral and intravenous sedation is the route of administration. Administered via injection, intravenous sedation has an almost instantaneous effect and is best used for shorter dental procedures.

INTRAMUSCULAR IM SEDATION: Intramuscular sedation, which involves an injection of sedative drugs into the muscles of the upper arm or upper thigh, can result in sedation within five minutes.

GENERAL ANESTHESIA: General anesthesia is commonly used for oral surgery and extended procedures such as smile makeovers, extensive dental treatments and full facial reconstructions. Sedation dentistry is used to provide a relaxing and anxiety-free experience for certain people receiving dental treatment. It enables individuals too afraid to go through dental treatments to receive the dental care they need while avoiding the common apprehension known as dental phobia. Sedation dentistry is also commonly used for individual that require extensive dental work whether it be restorative with dental implants or a cosmetic smile makeover with porcelain veneers.

Houston IV Anesthesia Sedation Dentist‎

Ive never written a single review in my life. However, I feel that my new found insight as it relates to sedation dentistry, in tandom with my experience, merits the time to write this review. I hope it helps...

After doing extensive research for a sedation dental office in Houston, I learned that what I really wanted was not a sedation dentist at all... What I really wanted was a qualified dental center with an anesthesiologist highly trained in IV and General Sedation. This would be in contrast to a dentist whom has completed a weekend course on sedation dentistry in Las Vegas.

Conscious Sedation Dentistry Houston

Moderate dental sedation can refer to either nitrous oxide or IV sedation. These sedatives can induce conscious sedation, where the patient will be awake and able to respond to commands, but will be in a state of extreme relaxation. Moderate sedation is defined by a depressed level of consciousness, meaning you can breathe independently, retain your reflexes and respond to verbal/physical stimulation - oral sedation or oral conscious sedation (OCS) is most often associated with sedation dentistry.

Oral Sedation Dentistry Houston

At Sedation Dentistry Houston, oral sedative medications such as diazepam can be given to a patient the night before a dentistry procedure or 30 minutes to an hour before the dental appointment, depending on the severity of the anxiety. Oral sedatives do not provide pain relief, so an injection of local anesthetic may also be administered.

Sedation Dentistry Houston

Sedation Dentistry Houston offers patients a relaxed, almost sleep-like dental experience. Sedation dentistry is safe, effective, and in many cases it is the only way to provide oral healthcare for many. It is often used during procedures that require an extensive amount of time, and it's especially ideal for patients who exhibit a dental phobia. A common misconception about sedation dentistry is that the patient is always unconscious. This is usually not the case as there are several methods such as concious sedation and deep sleep sedation, to name a few.

The Sedation Dentistry Suite at Dentiq offers the most advanced & comprehensive sedation dental center for cosmetic, restorative and neuromuscular dentistry and oral surgery in Houston, Texas by sedation specialists that have met and maintain the highest professional credentialing standards to offer complete sedation solutions. It's no wonder that many of our guests travel from surrounding states to be comfortably treated in a comprehensive dental center with Sedation Dentistry.
